I have learnt so much from installing this exhibition, I have written an artist statement, designed a poster, learnt to mount my own images and curated my part of the exhibition space. Paul the curator at Oriel Colwyn was a great help, working out the maths side of things for the spacing of photos.
I have to admit to wasting money for this exhibition, I bought too many frames, printed too many large images and had too many images mounted on dibond. I should have worked out sizes for the space instead of taking alone finished products and having to make them fit the space.
Oriel Colwyn has been a celebration of the past two years, I wanted to show a collection of of the work I had produced over the duration of the course. The opening night was well attended with friends and family, and I feel that I have gained in confidence to start looking for the next venue.
