Work Placement

Sunday found me back in Oriel Mostyn http://www.mostyn.org/ this time I was doing some volunteering at the Family Art Workshop. This work was arranged through Go Wales as a work taster and I'm now in the process of organising the work placement required in our second year there. The topic of each workshop has to link to the main exhibition which is currently "War" http://www.mostyn.org/whats_on/detail/war , part of the exhibition explores Llandudno's involvement in WW1.

As the workshops are for families and children, Nadine, who runs them, has chosen to look more at symbols of peace and has had the children making poppies, doves, guns which shoot flowers and so on. This week was incorporating collages of doves with words of peace.
